mind-boggling & honker

Quotations:

-- And it works. I just laugh at all of them for their ignorance and mid- boggling rudeness.

-- Oh yes! For me that does get my rocks off. Someone is rude, so they get the opposite of what they want. It happens in hospitality and small business all the time. relay & back down

Quotations:

Had a pax tonight relaying a story about a taxi ride he took with his girlfriend on the weekend. 5 minutes into the trip, the cabbie answers a personal Face Time call and proceeds to chat with 5 of his mates who were all hammered at a party. The pax said to him "Mate, what are you doing, turn it off" only for old mate cabbie to get aggro and say he can do what he likes. Pax then told him to turn it off and take me where I'm going safely or I'll report you. You are endangering our lives. Cabbie allegedly backs down and drops them off at destination. Pax and girlfriend alight cab and don't pay cabbie (allegedly). Old mate cabbie blows up deluxe. Pax says if I pay, I'm reporting you. Cabbie keeps blowing up, but backs down again, does a Uturn burnout across busy road/double lines when leaving and nearly hits another car in the process. I said he really should have reported him in any event and that it wasn't too late. Pax said he couldnt be bothered, he got his freebie. What the?!

pig & unbeknownst

Quotations:

-- On Good Friday I picked up two birds from Arncliffe (straight out of the airport geofence, bada bing bada boom) and took them to a mini music festival just off Sydenham station. Dropped them off, headed through Marrickville, get another job, two lads going back to the same festival.

One found a set of keys, I assumed they were the previous pax. What to do? Uber office closed for four days, poor bird has lost her house and car keys. Sh!t way to start a log weekend so I figure that since I'm heading back to the place anyway, I would talk my way in to the event and find them.

After explaining myself t several dumbarse security people, and eventually referred to the event manager, I was granted access, but told that I'd have slim chances of finding the girls in a 2,000 strong crows. No problem for me, challenge accepted - the live music throng is an environment I'm very comfortable in navigation, being a gig pig myself for the past three decades.

And bam - found them within one minute. Lass seemed grateful. I guess. Grateful enough for a tip ? Noooo, of course not. I've spent the last 15 goddamn minutes trying to gain access to the gig, and unbeknownst to her, I could have gone back in my own time.
