John Dobbin: [implicate; literally; deficit; chronically] Ok. These Panama Papers have exposed yet again, the enormity of organised tax evasion, implicating 800 Australians and several corporations. Now the legal transactions aside, Australians are literally being robbed billions of dollars of every year, and this is money that  can go into hospital beds; it can go into deficit reduction; it can go into a decent NBN and lots of other nice things that Australia wants. But this is not new. This has been going on since the 70', so my question to the panel is: Why do you think that Australia is so chronically unwilling to go after this tax cheats?
